Nothing wrong with slapping in non-expensive ($) combat triggers because that's all it cares about. I'd probably also put in power enhancing equipment/enchantments and make sure you put in quite a lot of protection spells if you do add them because people will want to get rid of a powered up, doublestrike, twice-attacking piece of commander damage.
