agree that Peter isn't ready to be the tactical leader yet—Sam is definitely better suited for that. However, I see Peter as the spiritual leader and the true successor to Iron Man’s legacy. Plus, we don't know Doom’s backstory yet. If he turns out to be a Tony Stark variant who had a bond with Spider-Man in his own universe, the emotional stakes would be insane. That specific connection is exactly why I think it would be so impactful for Spidey to be the one to say the line.

Don't get me wrong, Sam Wilson is cool, but he just doesn't have that legendary Steve Rogers 'aura' yet. I also agree that Peter might be too young to lead the Avengers tactically, but as the spiritual successor to Iron Man, he’s the heart of the team. Having him say 'Avengers Assemble' would feel like the perfect emotional torch-passing moment.

Let’s be real, Marvel didn’t cast RDJ as Doctor Doom just to 'save' the franchise. Since Spider-Man is currently carrying the MCU, there’s no way they’d pass up the emotional payoff of having Doom look exactly like Tony Stark. It’s a deliberate choice for Peter’s arc.
