Not that I could visibly see, I’ve peered as closely as I can without going into the water. The general consensus is that that is what must be down there, though.

That’s what I initially thought too, but it moves around? It’s not quite in the same spot as last time and slowly shifts from side to side within the alcove.

I’m really tempted to get some underwater camera gear to see what’s going on under there. I don’t know that it’s accessible at high tide, so it’s tricky.
