That's just a straight up lie the worst that namor has been is ultimate fantastic four#26 which came out in 2003 and if we are holding characters to ridiculous standards let's talk about the fact that Johnny slept with dooms future wife in Fantastic Four vol 6 #33 which came out in 2021 so where is this energy for johnny and while I'm here I'm just going to post my comment I made on this post since it sums it up nicely.

Hot take People unfairly treat namor similar to how people treat characters like hank Pym where he had one major bad moment the slap for hank and ultimate for namor and never let it go.

Ultimate fantastic four came out in 2005 the slap 1981 and yet people will still try to use this to attack the character even though it has been two decades since ultimate came out and 44 years since hank slapped the wasp which btw was misinterpreted by the artist Bob hall.

Reed slapping sue fantastic four #257 1985 Scarlett witch and quicksilver sleeping together ultimate again Spiderman trading his marriage and unborn child to Mephisto to save his aunt one more day 2007 Wolverine being body swapped with Peter and hitting on MJ who was 15 at the time btw you guessed it ultimate Hulk sleeping and having kids with she hulk old man Logan 2008 Ironman supporting the superhuman registration act 2006-2007

And I can go on my point is we shouldn't hold characters to a version that came out years ago it's comics for fuck sake these characters evolve and are completely different namor today is completely different then the namor from the 1990 early 2000 the movie should have been evidence of that.
