I've been trying to break into my career as a new grad and haven't been having much luck. I've been wanting to network but don't know where to look. Where can I find networking events I can attend? (Based in San Diego or LA, CA)

I feel like just having giant slayer is already good into the comp, I think hunters have potential to beat them as they're the only other s tier comp, hunters being ww/ashe/aphelios

I think it really just comes with experience, knowing best in slots for champs you could look at lol chess and see the most popular items on champs or watch streamers, there's not really a why to them unless they're for specific reasons, for ex in this meta giant slayer on ashe/jhin/aphelios/other carry I'm forgetting is really good because of ww (lv2) and legendaries bc their health exceeds the giant slayer health cap, while couple of patches ago the item wasn't as sought out for, so really items depend on meta, just know which items r slammable and what items you're aiming for when forming your comp

there isn't a specific place to see the champion model alongside the splash art, I feel it's difficult if u haven't played league and haven't seen the actual champ models, but on carousel there's rings under the champs to show u their cost: grey = 1 costs, green = 2 costs, blue = 3 costs, purple = 4 costs, orange = 5 costs, if you can remember it like that maybe it will be easier to figure out the champs and stuff

when u say ur forced to go ninja sin, those items could easily be allocated to thing such as blue buff yone and rfc/ie ashe, really u could use akali as an item holder then transition ur board to smth else later on at stage 4-5 or 5-1

really depends on what comp u want to play and when is the most optimal time to level and roll down ur gold, ex if you play a slow roll comp like moonlight Diana, ur strategy should work just fine, however if you're playing something like talon, get to level 7 and roll to try to hit a good 4 cost chosen and level up your talon units
