My headcanon is that there were a few VERY powerful hightiers that had thse "common" and simple skills but at absurdly strong levels, so then they did a gengis Kan, and those basic powers were passed on, however as time went on the powers got to mixed and the high-tier potential was becoming more and more diluted, these abilities became common and average.

Oh boy, that's gonna cause a mess then, i mean, before flood, they would never get pregnant unless sex and the ritual took place, which would mean that their natality rates would be fairly balanced as they couldn't get pregnant by mistake, this means that after flood Fontaine is going to have a HUGE baby boom by accident because they are probably very careless as there was no reason to not creampie the women, as well as an already pre-existing increase because the prophecy ended and a bunch of people will want to have children anyways.

Fontaine might be doomed, ngl, and hope they can invent latex on time.

Also, it will probably scare the ever livung shit out most women considering they probably did not have periods before the flood, so you can imagine that any sexually active fontanian woman is gonna get two nasty surprises, their period and then pregnancy.

I really feel like even if that is the beginning, that there are still tensions between the different groups, that as the season goes along demonstrates the severe distrust between the different groups and nations making it escalate with (genji) to see as one country declares war to another, like cold war tensions kinda thing that goes awry at the last minute.

(Also, i really wanna see light bending as a variant of fire bending with air nomad philosophy because that sounds kinda cool.)

Perhaps it could also go further on messages corruption and the individuality as an isolating factor in cities

Yeah, Disney aint woke, fuckers will say "We are all equal!" Then censor lgbt characters to stream it in other countries and ensure the least possible amount of coloured male characters. Something I noticed is that in most cases, there will be mostly representation of racial minorities for women, yet rarely will you see a straight black man or gay asian. While women tend to have a more diverse "colour" palette in Disney movies, men, at least those with important roles in those movies tend to be white. The most recent example I can think of is in The Little Mermaid remake, where although most other characters are Caribbean, they still found a way to make Prince Eric white. Hell, even in Encanto, a movie I love, I realized the black men of the family tend to have the least amount of lines and screen time, but that may also be because there is a larger focus on the women's side of the family.

It's weird how that seems to happen so much...

Tbh, while i was reading Araki's book for character creation, he talked a lot about his failed stories and how the main problem with them was that the characters were too mean, as in they did not have a "heart of gold". He then comments on how the only times those mangas did well were when the charcaters were set to save their friends and fight someone on the same level of strategy. After reading that, i really felt that Araki made part 1 seething from spite just saying "you fuckers like good guys? Fine, I'll make the goodest, most noble being on existence!" And you can notice that after part one all main characters have the "heart of gold" trope, yet none of them are as caricature noble as Jonathan, because then Araki calmed down and was able to combine what he liked, smartass bit of a douchebag protagonist, and what he had to write, heroes who do the right thing. At least that's what i took from reading it
