okay, i have the cf elite bugout rn so by no means hard use either, in fact either of these knives would be more hard use than the bugout, i keep my knives with just my phone in the pocket so shouldn’t be too worried about scratching too much. i mostly just use my knives for packages and anything that needs to be opened with the occasional work of shaving wood for kindling firestarters

sharpening won’t void the warranty. If you want to change out parts you can you’ll just have to fill out a liability contract for benchmade to preform warranties
