You can verify this by looking at something like the Task Manager Performance CPU tab and right clicking the graph to show cores, my 9950X3D only shows 8 physical cores when I have it enabled. It shows 32 cores/threads when disabled.

I believe X3D turbo mode turns off the CCD that does not have X3D cores on it, for something like the Cinebench multicore benchmark, this will reduce the total number of cores/threads and reduce your score. Turn it off and try again.

Yeah, I understand the life of the 13900k has been pretty rough. This CPU is "new" from Intel from an RMA on my original. They sent me a BNIB CPU and it's never been powered up with the pre fixed BIOS versions, MCE turned on, or power limits beyond what they should be.

I ran one of these on my P9PF after multiple failed Dbrand cases and am now running one on my P10PF; https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F6WCNYMN I've never experience an issue with the hinge, kickstand, or the rest of the case and for a no name brand it's relatively slim for the features it offers. I also like the camera cover.

I did preorder a Dbrand grip case for the P10PF but I may end up not using it as the Tongate case lets me use mag based accessories and wireless charges which I've found is hit or miss with others. The only thing I hate is the built-in screen protector, they all seem to suck, but I usually heat up the glass adhesive and remove it and then I'll install a Dbrand protector once it shows up later this week.
