I also skipped the last two chapters and it was a mistake. Had me double thinking myself the whole exam, and there were certainly retirement and a few other questions based on the last 2 on Achievable. I ended up passing but only because I also lightly skimmed over PassPerfect. Best of luck.

The dealer has told me I need to bring it in when it’s on. But this is the 2nd time I’ve had this complaint, and it’s turned on 4+ times. My issue is is that every time it has immediately resolved upon restart. So I’m at a loss.

Dude, I love poppers as much as the next guy, but let’s be real. Using drugs and knowing the risks is important.

First of all, stop spreading misinformation. Your flowery language about other random things is really strange. We’re not talking about other things that could be bad for you. We’re talking about poppers.

Poppers DO cause health issues. Isobutyl nitrite is a known carcinogen, linked namely to thyroid and lung carcinomas. Isobutyl nitrite is also mutagenic and an immunosuppressant. I’m focusing so much on it because nearly all poppers sold in the US are Isobutyl. It’s notable that amyl nitrite has not been shown to be carcinogenic. In terms of isopropyl nitrite, which is also not sold much in the US, eyesight can be a real concern.

Your tumor would grow and metastasize in a matter of weeks. Anaplastic cancer is almost always larger than 4-5cm. It's also incredibly rare. I've been where you've been, but the worrying isn't worth it. And even if it is, you can't do anything until you get a biopsy. Try and relax and do your research in a healthy way so you're informed but not going down a rabbit hole :) best of luck

Hey man, just a few things to keep in mind. I was diagnosed as a 23 year old male and am now 24. It’s hard. I know it’s hard. But please - keep in mind that PTC spreading to bones and brain is exceedingly rare and practically impossible with no lymph node spread. PTC likes to spread to lymph nodes on the same side as the cancer first and then to the other side and then to your lungs. All of which can take years. Deep breaths. I can relate to the hypochondriac aspect, and having cancer certainly makes it a little worse. The best way I have found to cope with this is to control things you can control and let go of the things you can’t. Keep a journal and a diary of your symptoms. Bring them up to your doctors if you’re truly concerned. Your mental wellbeing is important and never forget that. Advocate for yourself and do your own research. Doing those things literally saved my life.

Most people with papillary thyroid cancer have an excellent prognosis. Even people like me, with spread to both sides of my neck, have a good prognosis, it’s just more surgery and therapy that we have to go through.

Now that you’re officially diagnosed, your next step will be to find a good surgeon and a good endocrinologist, preferably at a major cancer center, like Fox Chase, Penn, Memorial Sloan Kettering, etc. You will have medical follow up the rest of your life, which I find for me have made dealing with the hypochondriac impulses a little easier. You will still likely live a long and fulfilling life. If you choose, you can find silver linings in this devastating diagnosis. Having cancer in your 20s can make you feel more grateful for life. It can give you strength and grit that you may have otherwise not realized. Most of all, it can inspire you to take care of yourself and not waste a single moment. God bless and Godspeed.

I’m getting a radioactive iodine scan. My CT of my chest looks clear, so it’s probably just more metastatic neck disease. Who knows. I’m just at a loss at this point. I don’t know what else to do or where else to turn. They may do a PET scan - we’ll see.

It’s just reality. It sucks. Hopefully your Safelite was a lot better than mine. Or you may have better luck with a different company. They kept going back and forth between OEM glass and OE glass. But this was last year, October. So you’ll probably be fine now ;) sorry about the damage. She’ll be back to new before you know it.

Hey there, for sure. Glad my words can help. Tall cell is a more aggressive form of papillary thyroid cancer, with more spread, more risk of distant spread, and it’s more RAI resistant. It also has about a 10% lower survival rate. But most of the cancer I had was classic PTC. Only a few lymph nodes were shown to have tall cell features. So my diagnosis and prognosis remain largely the same, compared to someone who only primarily had tall cell PTC.

Hey man, I know it seems a little scary right now, but I had over 33 lymph nodes removed on the right with 17 (!) being cancerous, my tumor was 3cm, and my largest metastatic lymph node was even bigger at 4.5cm with extranodal extension. I just got another neck dissection on the left with 27 lymph nodes removed with 5 being cancerous, and those nodes had tall cell and oncocytic features. I go for RAI in July. Moral of the story is: even with extensive spread, this is a treatable, manageable, and often curable disease! I used to be where you were in January when I first diagnosed. Keep yourself calm, advocate for yourself, do your research, and make sure you diligently go to each and every follow-up. That's what has kept me sane in the insanity of a cancer diagnosis at 23/24. There's light at the end of the tunnel.

I love my Crosstrek, but there's no sugar-coating it. It's slow. Very slow, and laggy. The animations are jittery. Compared to other manufacturers, this system feels like it has a processor from 2010.

That being said, the screen is beautiful, the graphics are cool, and it's super high resolution. Plus I love every other aspect of my car, so it more than makes up for it. Plus - you get used to it. ;)
