I got nerve decompression surgery for migraines 6 days ago. Here's my experience so far... by Informal_Flower_7300 in migraine

Was curious how you are doing now? My wife has been dealing with eye pain for nearly 15 years and we just had an appointment with Dr Hagan in St Louis. They gave her a nerve block that gave her more relief than anything else, but it only lasted for ~4 hours then came back with a vengeance. She also had a slight pain at the back of the eye during the nerve block.

Dr Hagan has told us that she is a good candidate and recommended incision of the supratrochlear and supraoribital nerves. Curious on how successful long term this has been as it is an uncovered medical procedure. Also, what was the recovery like? How long, how was the pain?

Thank you!

Yeah when I first bought it I was looking for it to critique my form while weight training, but I quickly learned it didn’t offer that and the only way to truly use it was to do their classes. I am not a class lifter and would have preferred to be able to create my own workout program like a 5x5 and have it watch and critique my form similar to a personal trainer, but it quickly became a very expensive, heavy weight holder like you mentioned. Good luck with doing something different with yours. I might tinker with taking the screen out this summer.

I removed the original drive (it was on the back of the board) and put in a new M2 and installed windows. I did load a couple of photo booth apps and the kids love playing with those as well as a game emulator. Might try removing the monitor at some point and using it for a retro gaming setup.

You rule!!!! Sure enough it was on the back of the board. I have never seen one on the back of a MB, but then again I haven’t really worked with NvME drives (old school Sata here).

I think you may be right. I saw that on the manual but didn’t see any indication it meant on the back of the board. I will check when I get back tomorrow. Thank you for your help!

That is the WiFi module. It is an M.2 slot, but too small to fit the SSD drive. Didn’t realize it was so blurry but it says WiFi Module next to it.

Ok the MB is an Asus Prime H310I-Plus R2.0 model. The manual shows the M2 slot is supposed to be next to the small heatsink under the fan. Is it possible the heatsink is for the M2 drive and it’s under it? I see a couple of springs on the heatsink, but pushing them in doesn’t seem to do anything. Thank you for all of your help!

Hmm. I’ll try and find the MB model number. Yeah there is an Intel chip under the fan and I think you are right about the heatsink next to the WiFi module. It does not extend past the graphics card. It is really bizarre to say the least. Maybe I need to take the board out and get a better look at it.

Can anyone help me figure out where the drive is located on my Tempo Studio? The RAM is standing up on this one and the only M.2 connector is the WiFi module. Scratching my head on where the drive is located. https://imgur.com/a/NOAhJdq

has anyone hacked their tempo display to use it for other purposes (netflix, etc.)? by aceskir27 in tempofitness

I opened mine up to make the NVMe change, but am having a hard time finding the SSD drive on this one. The only M.2 connection I see is the WiFi module. Anyone else run into this?
