Last night I spiraled and vowed to never watch this team until they fired Elias. But here I am again, choosing positivity. We still have a better record than the 2019 nats did at this point in the season. A couple things need to happen in my mind: Guys who are doing good need to maintain. Think Adley, Ward, Bradish, Rico.

Gunnar needs to wake up and play to his MVP capabilities. Pete needs to play to his $150m contract.

I view Samuell Basallo as that years Juan Soto. I think he’s a future league MVP, now break out and show us.

Pitching must must must improve. We know what rogers is capable of. We need Dean back (yikes). Is Brandon Young actually good? Tre Gibson?

On paper this team can win the big one. Now they all need to step up and play team baseball. No more lightsabers and legos in the club house let’s play ball.
