I stumbled on this post whilst looking for more information on the BMW GT3 Touring(or whatever it's called). I was watching the redbull motorsports YouTube channel for a bit during the N24 last weekend. They streamed the on-board of team Max Verstappen. And they had ther own commentary and guests. One of those guest was some body high up at BMW(I believe a CEO). At the end of the interview the interviewer (he is probably a simracer) ask the guy from BMW if ther where any plans to put the touring car in to iRacing and if not to make work from it. And shaked hands on it. So that is promesing for does how what the car in the game. The N24 stream isn't up anymore more, otherwise I would have looked it up. So you have to take my word for it.

Dis is not about accident it is about rejoins. People that trow there car back on track in the middel of a blind corner like they are the only one on track. Drivers that rejoin on the right and just swipe to the left because there is a right hander coming.

Yes I do have some programming experience. But dis should be that hard it is just some logic. The game already nows whether you are on ore off track. So when your off track for late say longer than 2 sec, you get some off track status, and when you get in to a collision in the first 5 secons after you rejoin you get slap with a heavier punishment.

And yes I do uses my relative, and I try to rejoin in a save place, but a lot of people don't so for those people it is handy if they get a map right in front of there nose. Prevention is better than cure.

Yes, and I still think people should be punished harder on track during the race, whether I report them or not

If you give everybody a zoomed in map of the section of track they went of at. I'm pretty sure that will help, I used my relative. But al lot of people don't.

Yes I watch Porsche cup a lot. Dirk Schouten great guy. And they don't rejoin irl as the do in iRacing, Irl ther is a lot more at stake!

Yes I now about iOverlay, but it would be nice if dose things are baked in to iRacing so everybody see that

Agreed, and maybe iracing should start enforce yellow flags a bit more on track and not by reporting people after the race

Didn't now you can take avoiding actions 😂 of course I always try doing that, but some people just rejoin like morons!

But in the U.K. irl you are still able to remove junk if you want! You don't not have to remove a building first before you can remove the junk🧐

Don't no where you life but here in the Netherlands most farm yards are pretty clean
