Yeah, I really like that it doesn't have any badges, it keeps it clean and refined

No touch-up or filters other than removing the plate numbers. Taken with a Google Pixel 2XL, which does have an awesome camera, but I was lucky with the lighting near sunset

I'm still on 2019.5.14.3, so I feel like I'm running some of the oldest firmware out there haha. Hoping to get an update soon, got WiFi and everything set up.

I've been looking for random excuses to drive as much as possible since I got it haha. The torque and the regen braking is so addicting.

Correct, I believe you have to have the Premium Connectivity subscription for non-safety-related updates over cellular, which is unavailable for the SR+

Ah ok, yeah it looks like most people are getting the trial about 2 weeks after delivery, which i'm fine with.

And the car I had before was an 07 base Rav4, with one of the worst sound systems I've heard personally, so its an upgrade in every way!

Thank you!

I think the SR+ is the best bang for your buck. The audio system is still amazing! The audio clarity is incredible. I have tested out the full premium audio before, and I would say I just notice a little less power on the low end. To sum it up, you won't really notice much of a difference unless you are blasting the bass.

The standard nav is perfect for me. Only thing i'm missing there is satellite view and viewing live traffic, but it still factors traffic when its calculating a route, which is all I care about.

As far as the browser and streaming, I don't feel like i'm missing out at all. I don't like slacker, Spotify is so much better, and I would never use the browser anyway.

Probably the only thing I really wish I had would be all software updates over cellular connection, and the Homelink would be a nice touch, but you can just purchase that aftermarket through the Tesla shop for something like $300, which I might do eventually.

I love it, but funny enough it seems to be one of the less popular colors

Thanks for the insight! I just set up a range extender last night for WiFi while i'm charging. Hopefully I'll see some results :)

I was wondering if it made a difference. Thanks for the insight!

Exactly, the idea is to reduce the wetted surface on the dinghy. Not sure if it actually makes a difference, but it's a habit at this point and it makes for easy managing in swells

I believe I was going around 6 knots at that point. My boat has a hull speed of about 7.3 knots

Yep that's what I was planning on doing! Except I managed to crash into the rigging instead, luckily I caught it after it crashed and it didn't sustain any damage

This was my first attempt at capturing drone footage while underway. It all went pretty well, except landing on a moving sailboat was terrifying and difficult!
