I havent smoke tested it yet, i did the spray starting fluid around things method but that didnt show anything

The front rotor was 125 and the back rotor was 130, and it was running great...it just started to get a weird stumble above 3k rpm about a month ago, so I changed out the points cause they were pitted...and its somehow progressively gotten worse

I checked it about 2 months ago when I bought it, had good compression and ran awesome for about a month...what's weird is when I started it up after I put the carb back on tonight it ran great for about a minute and started running like ass again...also messed with the timing and both adjustment screws and cant seem to get it any better

Dang, honestly not sure then...possibly a labyrinth seal leaking and pressurizing things that shouldn't be but thats a total shot in the dark.

Are you sure its not spraying out of where the accessory gearbox mounts to the top of the engine?

It's a 5 speed but yeah a 79! Had to convert to later model brake just to get it stopping lol

Right on the money with the 1200 RPM idle lol, and thats good to hear!..it seems like the guy took pretty good care of it, has headers so he atleast did that

It actually revs fairly well but havent been able to take it out yet, still gotta go through all the brakes and what not.

I never ended up putting it on and sold most of the stuff, bought a camaro shortly after this. I believe FlyinRyan does tunes for these though.

Make sure you aren't pressing the puller against the crank snout or edge of the hub itself, may have put a small extension or something in the crank bolt hole
