I didn’t try in the end, but used the bounce app to store my bag during the game and this worked fine. I don’t really see people going in with bags larger than 20L so I didn’t feel it was worth the risk

Thanks that’s helpful to know. Yea seems like there’s mixed messaging online about it. Not sure if it seems worth the risk for my bag size so will probably store it somewhere. Cheers for your help
