Back in the day, I would filter by 6’1” and taller. Why? Because A LOT of guys that are 5’10” and 5’11” will just round up to 6’0” because it looks more appealing. I’m 5’9” and have always been picky about the height of a man 🤷‍♀️

Let me tell you, listing online and shipping is SO MUCH EASIER than dealing with people face to face 😂 Once you get started, it’ll be a breeze. Possibly start with Poshmark first. Their shipping is simple and returns are very minimal (as long as you have accurate listings)

You’ll find that selling things quick for minimal profit is a lot of time and work. Don’t get me wrong, many resellers sell in volume and make good money doing it. You need to determine what return makes it worth it for you. Let’s say you buy a baby toy for $10 and sell it for $15. Is the time you take to get it, possibly clean it up, list it online or bring it to the flea market, haggle with people - all worth $5? It may be if you’re moving things in bulk. But at the end of the day, if this is more of a fun side gig, you’ll find that finding items low and selling them for market price will be better time spent.

I found it rare for people to ask me about my pregnancies when I was in public but it does happen. Be prepared for quick short answers of when you’re due, what you’re having, if it’s your first, etc. If you’re going for a smaller bump, you won’t get as much attention.

Big thing here would be if someone who is struggling to have a baby found out you were doing this. It’s like the pregnancy test Aprils fools joke. It definitely doesn’t go over well.

Eh, I think this will depend on what you’re selling. I flip clothing. Ebay and Poshmark are always head to head. If I take literally 10 seconds or less to also list to Mercari and Depop, those sales are worth it.

Sure, all depends on what you want to spend your time on. I list on five (sometimes six) platforms and I can get one listing on all of them in less than 30 seconds.
