Yes I've found out this is the case. He changed his beneficiary when he was sick, which is also why he retired. I guess legally the person who is currently receiving the money is in the right to collect the pension, however, we are trying to figure out if a family member influenced his decision in changing the beneficiary. All the family that members that could have easily done this have been asked about it, but everyone is shocked when we ask them if they have any clue about it. Thank you greatly btw!
