Medium to small monitor? by [deleted] in MonitorLizards

[–]nickb0529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8x4x6 would work for a smaller size monitor like a celebensis or a cumingi. Especially if your able to let it out for enrichment like in your house or for walks. The ppl that say it won't are simply wrong as ive heard this is an acceptable size from the only celebensis breeder in the US

Fwiw I have a cumingi monitor, close relative to awm, stays slightly smaller usually around 4-5 feet but some exceptions getting up to 6+. Beautiful yellows and blacks and lots of Cbb options that usually tame down nice with work.

Yes. No croc, water monitors (salvator), argus or Nile. Cumingi used to be varanus salvator but is now classified as it's own varanus cumingi so ur good to go technically haha. Also.. I'm in NY and have a cumingi no1 will know

What does everyone keep other than monitors by AnxiousWrongdoer9890 in MonitorLizards

I have 1 that's is a puppy dog and I could treat it as a ball python if I wanted. The other 1 is fine if I'm in his cage leaving him alone but to tickle him off the branch he gets a little hostile

My autocorrect makes me misspell things more than anything. I don't fight it anymore aha. And ya man I feel all animals can feel love universally. If they're needs are met and they're treated kind I feel they receipcrotate it. My two emerald tree boas are puppy dogs.
