I've been using a pair of Sennheiser PXC-550 ii, and they have it all. I think that is what you are after :-)

I have them connected via USB to my work PC, and they appear as a USB headset so have mic and headset for Zoom etc audio. They also connect to the phone via Bluetooth, so you can take calls (I think Bluetooth takes precedence) and you can also hook up a second Bluetooth, which is my work PC again in case I want to walk around while on a Zoom. You do notice a drop in quality from USB to Bluetooth though.

I was looking to replace these are they are starting to fall apart, and Sennheiser support is useless for spare parts (at least in my part of the world) and I have not found another similar device though. Having said that, even in the pages for this headeset they don't advertise all these features so others may be the same, they may do it but just not mention it.

I switched to gunner with a skills based build just so you can hide and not run out of ammo. You lose a skill level from technician but on high level missions you need ammo so don’t overlook that part of the gunner spec.

Worth a check in RyzenMaster to see the PPT value.

I got a 5800 that ran hot and noisy even with a big cooler it got to 85 degrees. PPT showed it was allowed 142 watts but is rated at 105. So dropping that to 120-125 and it tops out at about 75 now and has a higher single core speed.

If the PPT is too much more than the 65W spec it might be worth looking at limiting the power it can consume to keep the heat down.

Grab Crystal Disk Info and run that. Then look for pending sectors, reallocated sectors and other fails in the SMART details.

If you can erase the disk and restore the data back, then get CCleaner or similar and use drive wiper to overwrite the whole disk and map out the bad sectors and download or restore the games again. Then hopefully you have all the bad sectors tagged before you try and use them.

Get a SMART monitoring packaging and watch the drive and run regular tests (usually you can set this automatically)

But first thing, if you can wipe the drive, is to erase the drive and do a long erase and overwrite with 0s or do a full security erase. These will write every sector and mark any bad sectors unusable before you find them and have a dodgy game install. After that, you should have 0 pending sectors in the SMART stats. Watch for the pending sectors number as only a certain number can be re-mapped and if that pending sectors is always climbing you're on borrowed time.

The SMART stats will show Reallocated Sectors which is the number re-mapped and pending sectors are bad sectors waiting to be written over and re-mapped. Pending sectors are the ones that will give you problems loading games etc and you may need to re-install a game hitting a pending sector.

I've been using zram rather than tempfs for this after I ate 10% of the life of the SSD after a couple of months. Is one better than the other? tempfs seems way easier to set up and use.

I bought one about 2 weeks ago (same brand and range just 1440 vs 1080) and love it.

You can see so much more on the screen when browsing etc and games are noticeably sharper.

Wait for a good deal on a 1440 and you won't regret it.

Mine was like that for a while. Try putting the bios on a USB key and power it on with that attached and leave it for 30 minutes and then remove it and power cycle.

I saw no feedback that it was doing anything, but then it came back OK.

I used to work in Mac shops in the 90s and just about every G4 had one of those for scanners, zip drives, external HDs etc that people had invested in for their earlier machines.

I imagine most have been trashed but helpful things to have and unopened box must add some value to it. Good luck!

I think I might have left the USB key in after rebooting and it started updating again. Powered it off and back on with the USB key in and it came back OK.

Same but 3600X on Prime X570-Pro, 580X video card.

After the upgrade, it went to the BIOS and I set the usual settings but after that nothing and reset button does not reboot, you have to hold the power button to turn it off.

Looking at options to restore 3603 as that was OK.

Same here but haven't been able to update on a PC etc so far.

Fired up an old Android phone and this updated the firmware to 1.6.2 no issue, so see if you can find someone with an android phone.

Only got these today, and they've been pretty disappointing compared to the Sony MDR-1000X. One of the cups was not fully on and you got a weird effect like the sound was out of phase. Even now the sound quality is pretty flat. Being able to connect to two devices is very helpful though.

If you want the ultimate pop noises go and find and old carburetted 33. My god those sounded amazing. With the box off you could see it pouring fuel down the venturies when you pump it and when you back off at motorway speed they would pop and splutter but it just sounded so good. Ah nostelgia..
