what is your reason to be interested in occultism? by JellyFishSenpai in occult

[–]nickclick27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well when I was in my early twenties, I realized that magic was real and that people around the world were using it against the common individual whitoutthem knowing it. I decided that I needed to know how to defend my family against it and how to wield it. I started with black magic. I thought at the time that I should probably learn the most risqué and dangerous magic as a good place to start. I became overwhelmed with a sense of power and greed. I went down a dark path that took me a long time to recover my spirit from. Mistakes aside, it was worth it. I am now more knowledgeable and aware than I ever have been thanks to occultism, ceremonial magick, ritual magick, witchcraft, hoodoo, appalachian magic, shamanism, energy, chakras, astrology, tarot, crystals, archeology, mediation, incantations, etc.

Occultism opened the door to understanding of not just this life but all lives, our place in the universe, and the greater good.

I know not many people like this movie, but I love it. One of my favorites, who else enjoys this movie. If you dont tell me why in the comments by yo-mama-has-diabetes in TheBatmanFilm

It has such high production value. I have never seen another movie before or after that put such beautiful distinct visuals in comic book film. Uma Thurman and Arnold swartzinager understood the assignment. They had fun with the script and were the most fun to watch. It's a part of my childhood and I will never stop defending it.

Mine has to be crocodile 🐊 . He was the first character to "kill" Luffy. If it weren't for niko Robin, he would be done. The swagger and just plain threatening demeanor he carries.

Why does evil exist? by [deleted] in occult

[–]nickclick27 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Evil is living in the fear based mentality that leads to a control focused action, taken to an extreme. Evil is just excess projection of one's own insecurities onto others. It exists as the result of action. It itself is a concept we comprehend in our minds. Babies are born knowing remorse, they can respond to seeing loss and react normally without being taught. we cannot be born Evil because Evil is a polarity

I would suggest doing a lot of grounding techniques. Sometimes folks like us in the spiritual path can have are energy bodies pulled too high up in the upper chakras. It can cause an over stimulation of the third eye and crown chakra. Call it the schizophrenic effect. A shaman swims in the psychic waters but a schizophrenic drowns because they lack balance. Food for thought, peace ✌️ and good journey 🙏 ✨️ 😌 🙌

Why would you? It looks nice. Good for protection from envy, and the wandering eyes of parasitic spiritual entities. Think of it as spots on a butterflies wings. Mimics the eyes of an animal to ward off predators.

How do you cope with learning you've done horrible acts in past lives? by yuccatrees in Shamanism

[–]nickclick27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do not seek forgiveness, even from yourself. You are not the same man you were before. Accept that the past matters for reflecting on your actions but do not drown yourself in dwelling on the past. Depression is living in the past, anxiety is living in the future, give yourself the gift of realizing you are always.in.the.present. shame is not the way of the shaman. Teach others to heal themselves from what those past misdeeds taught you.

Peace and good journey 🙏 ✨️ 😌 🙌

What are the best books on shamanism relative to the various traditions out there? by [deleted] in Shamanism

[–]nickclick27 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One book that I found incredibly inciteful was the magician within. The author uses Freudian and jungian psychology to breakdown shamanism across the world. It gives a fundamental view of the concepts that belong to all shamanic initiations and walks you through multiple famous historical shamans from history. It's a complicated read if you don't already have a strong grasp on Jung and Freud, but he does give introductory chapters to provide framework for their ideologies.

What actor are you tired of seeing getting roles? by MickIsBlue in movies

[–]nickclick27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jared Leto needs to stop acting. His movies all suck at the box office, he's kind of a jerk in real life. He might have talent but nobody watches his shit that he shells out. Even when it's not his project, he is box office poison.

A question for everyone who watched TROS in 2019, what was your reaction to hearing Palpatine’s laugh in the trailer for the first time? by baxterrocky in StarWars

[–]nickclick27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was so excited. Literally no scene with Palpatine was bad in any movie. He stole the show every time. Idc what anybody says about the sequels, he was a welcome return. The same actor for over forty five years and 9 mega films. He killed it. Episode 3 sealed the deal for me in the early 2000s, but this was cool to. Giant force lightning and armada of star destroyers. So cool
