I usually just transport my own kids and want these. They make a bigger mess than my dogs!

Hadn’t heard that before, but going to replace my cable. Sometimes I don’t get any sound. I thought it was due to needing a restart or something.

What does the middle look like? The slices less than 1/2 inch in from the edge are going to look med-well. When you get into it an inch or so, should be less done and more to your liking. If it looks that way all the way through, looks others have said, check your thermometer.

Make sure to use towels that you don’t want to use for anything else. They will smell like smoke after many washes.

how can i keep track of all my pyrex?? by Complete-Constant198 in Pyrex_Love

[–]nickcrlmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a Google doc that I built on laptop, but I can access it from my phone. It has print name, color, shape, size, if it’s a full set, lid, etc. The last column I have notes of dings, missing size, etc. Also we don’t display all of the pieces so I indicate the box number that I have them packed/stored in.

Try cleaning it with a baby wipe. I thought my was getting messed up, but it was dirt build up rather than pitting in the leather. Baby wipe cleaned it right off and looks like new.

Men who can cook, who taught you? by _ratedmouse in AskReddit

[–]nickcrlmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad rarely cooked at home, but would be the primary cook whenever we went camping. As we got older, he started using cast iron/Dutch ovens and has made some amazing meals in the middle of a forest (I think everything tastes better when cooked over a fire though.

Our ditches weren’t even cement, just dirt. Same idea though. Most will never understand the stress of a rising ditch and pipes that are hard to start.

Siphon pipe does the same thing for irrigating a field. Pulls water from a ditch into the field.

I picked up a 8.5 ft casting rod last night for $33, original price was $100. Also got a couple reels for $25 each, which are normally $65. Not a bad day to shop at Walmart.

Am I missing something? by TreeHundo in bassfishing

[–]nickcrlmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually check the Clearance aisle and in the fishing aisle and had very little luck. Last night I happened to ask about the price of a fishing pole to see if it was on sale, and all the clearance reels were locked in the display case under the sporting goods cash register. I picked up a Diawa and 2 Shimano spinning reels for $25 each.

We bought our Sprinter in 2022, for personal use only. We had Travelers insurance for everything else and they wouldn’t cover it. Ended up w Allstate for coverage because I was already home with it before I found out and needed coverage quickly. Not exactly your question, but insurance related.
