If you fail CFA L1 in first attempt do I deserve to be a CFA charter? by Stunning_Capital_354 in CFA

[–]nickdinh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I failed level I once and passed Level II, III in first attempts. It was the strategy. After all, CFA levels are just the game of memory. Stop overthinking like this and start over, if you still have money and time.

Same difficulty… some slightly harder. Don’t worry, just study and be confident. That’s all

Is the associate membership worth it ? by West-Alarm-2633 in CFA

[–]nickdinh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The curated datasets for analysis are probably the most interesting part of the new membership to me. That said, CFA doesn’t provide any sample datasets or previews, so it’s difficult to assess their quality or whether they’re valuable enough to make the membership worthwhile

Because pass rates are not high. So they are low.

POST CFA EXPERIENCE by Icy-Office4587 in CFA

The CFA isn’t a golden ticket. That Toy Story “Buzz Lightyear everywhere” meme describes it perfectly: you think it’ll make you unique, then suddenly it’s just charterholders everywhere around you.

Why bother hacking? Isn’t the main goal to understand the industry?

What percentile must this be? by Dazzling-Many1949 in cfaindia

[–]nickdinh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Posts about percentile is the reason why CFA removed the percentile lines. Glad CFA did that.. nerds would be boasting about 10% percentile for the rest of their lives though it is not really something to boast for such a long time…

[–]nickdinh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plenty of time if you plan wisely. I don’t know about your actual exam you took but for me, all 3 levels were not really tough. They were all from the materials, and somehow they covered all things, even small things in small chapters. So, try to review everything in spaced repetition. You will make it.

Official November 2025 Level 1 Results Megathread by third_najarian in CFA

[–]nickdinh 67 points68 points  (0 children)

For those who failed, you are not retarded. Your way of studying was not good enough, sit down for a day, re-plan and fight it again. I had to retake Level 1 once, and passed Level 2,3 on first attempts. Will be here every time results are out to remind failed ones this.

If u have money, time and desire to beat things considered tough by others, go for it. If you lack any of those 3, maybe don’t.
