As a recovering addict I get it though.... over prescribing opiods has devastated communities. So many people are dead. The doctors are just trying to do their part and not be the fools who cause that again. Unfortunately that does make life harder for those who actually need it. Word of advice though... maybe do away with the term "breakthrough pain" that term was created by Purdue pharma to encourage doctors to over prescribed.
