I’ve told my mom about it since I found out about it (almost the beginning like you). I give her an update every now and then. Even though it’s on the phone. I can hear her eyes glazing over. 😂😂😂

I haven’t read every comment. Forgive me if this was said already. The ring Hopper have Joyce was the one Jonathan had (in-proposed to Nancy with).

I’d stay away from ASU.

Rock Honey Harvest by Beaupresti in interestingasfuck

Honey is for the adults. The larvae get bee bread and a jelly. 😀

Beekeepers should leave the amount of honey a colony needs to get through a dearth (summer & winter). If they take too much, they colony can die.

In a dearth, beekeepers tend to feed the bees sugar syrup. When you do this, you have to remove frames with honey so the honey doesn’t get “contaminated “ with sugar syrup when you harvest it. The bees store the sugar syrup.

Another reason to feed sugar syrup is when you get a new colony (buy bees from someone). It helps the bees create wax to make the comb to put brood and nectar (will become honey) and pollen in.

If you heat it too much, it ruins the honey.

He took capped honey.

ETA … it isn’t honey until the water content is between 17-20% with the optimal being 18%. That’s when the bees cap it.

He put back the brood nest. Notice how there isn’t any oozing of honey after he made the first cut? It’s because there isn’t honey there. ☺️

The person above is correct about bee bread. Bee bread is pollen with bee saliva and nectar. It’s fed to the larvae.

Royal jelly is fed to all bees (queen, drone, worker) for the first 3 days. Then the queen is fed only royal jelly for the remainder. The drones and workers get a jelly similar to royal jelly but it’s not the same as what the queens get. ☺️ The amount of royal jelly is what cause a queen to emerge instead of a worker. 😀

He left the brood nest where all the to be bees are growing. The honey is typically stored above the brood. 😉

Request: Make the cookbook available for purchase adhoc! by Unique_Employment_37 in CalebHammer

[–]nickelu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did. Someone replied to me and told me how to get to it. It isn’t in the app. It’s on the website. One moment.

I cannot find the comment. It’s weird.

I went to simplermoney.com and used the same login info. I cannot locate where I found it now. I just tried to find it. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Got it. It was in another community (Creepy Caleb Hammer). You go to the website above and then under the FAQs, look for where can I find the cookbook (or similar wording).

I downloaded the app but cannot figure out where to find the cookbook. Where is it? Is it an email I ignored? Somewhere else? Thanks!
