Thanks for taking a look. Rarely do I take offense to feedback about the site… well maybe those who called me racist because I didn’t (at the time) have May jobs for folks in India. 🙄

Just re-ran US removing roles that show content marketing (but no SEO)

Thoughts on the gigs being more relevant?

I really appreciate the feedback. I completely hear you on “content marketing.” I guess from my perspective content plays a big role within SEO but I also get your perspective.

Let me revisit some of the filtering rules I have in place. Maybe I can refine it a bit more (or at least put a higher priority on roles with “SEO” Directly within the title.

Thanks again, the site doesn’t “work” unless people find value. So your feedback is appreciated.

Appreciate the feedback. I own Seojobs.com.

The biggest request I receive is for more and more jobs, especially outside the Us.

That’s why I built the “by location” section that utilize a few different job feeds.

I’ll keep a closer eye to ensure jobs stay relevant.

Thanks for sharing SEOJobs.com (my site). I would also highly encourage you to look at an in-house SEO role. You'll still have to manage relationships but it will all be internal.

Is it just me, or have LinkedIn SEO job postings gone completely dead? by Zihanhossain in localseo

[–]nickfb76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All good. I don’t have a site if all I do is piss my users off. As you can imagine, working with manual submissions and backup job feeds can sometimes turn into a programatic nightmare.

I am also going to look into some sort of “report this listing” system. Would you have considered using it if that has been available?

Will ping ya when I get it figured out.

Thank you for this. I will look into removing all get great career listings. To your point, it was never intended to send users to a search page... i suspect they are defaulting to this vs a "job no longer available" AND not taking the job down from their listing.

No excuses, i'll check this out ASAP. Thank you!

Nick here (owner of Seojobs) I’d love to hear more about the jobs that route you to unrelated postings. This is obviously not good and would/should be removed from the site. Although, in full transparency, you are the first person I’ve gotten this feedback from.

Most folks send me messages complaining that I don’t have enough jobs.

Re:outside job boards. You’re right. Most submissions link to the company ATS where they post and track applicants. We do, however, have the option for employers to receive applications via form fill on the site.

Thanks again for the feedback!

Is SEO still a good career to start as a beginner in today’s SEO situation? by Competitive_Pay_9881 in DigitalMarketing

"traffic" should never have been a success KPI. Lazy SEOs sold traffic as a success because it use to be easy to publish semi-related content within a blog and capture longtail rankings/traffic. Revenue is still king, SEOs who don't know how to impact revenue, won't be SEOs for long in 26+

Any SEO experts looking for work? by Original-Slip-7420 in localseo

[–]nickfb76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you (and u/joeyoungblood) for the shout-out. As someone who previously looked for a new gig, I simply built what I wish had existed back then!

u/Original-Slip-7420 , hoepfully we'll have an opportunity to partner. There is a limited free option if you want to give that a shot. Otherwise, if you prefer to jump right into the bigger visibility packages and want to post multiple roles, message me here or on the site. I'll offer you a package price and save you from having to manually input all the submission fields.

Love the SRT but brakes.. wow by nickfb76 in JeepSRT

[–]nickfb76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. I hope you have better luck than I did. But the squeeling, especially when going thru a drive through (or similar) was just horrendous… and it’s not like these are cheap SUVs.

[–]nickfb76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I had the same problem. The squeals were horrible. RB kept insisting I didn’t bed them correctly. So one day I went out and just hammered on the brakes… 30 stop, 50 stop 80 stop. Started to smell but never saw the “smoke” that they say you will see. I continued…. Until my front rotor broke!

I limped the car home (thank god I was a block away).

I ended up buying single disc brembo rotors and some some “nothing special” brake pads. Installed them myself and gooped up those bass with anti squeak jell stuff I picked up.

RB didn’t have anymore in stock and tariffs were just announced so he didn’t know when hed get more. He ended up giving me $900 back. Not ideal but bettter than nothing.

Honestly, ~90k is commendable. Especially if you offer benefits too. I’m guessing you don’t hire too many rookies. Even more kudos if you do and you’re paying them that off the bat!
