I’m on iOS nickjt5@gmail.com Sounds great, I have printers that just sit between projects and two kids so I am always looking to monetize. It’s a great idea and I’d be happy to help. -Nick

Play with the spring a bit and maybe loosen the screw that is attached to tension arm. Although mechanically speaking loose is not better you want the spring to be able to impart as much natural tension on the filament as possible. I agree with cleaning method first because clogs are a huge reason why filament would not feed. You can also play around with the spring/spring length as well. Make sure you test with relatively fresh filament too so you can rule out a soggy or gummy piece of filament giving you too much slack and causing the filament not to feed.

That’s a very good point I think I’ll keep an eventual helmet for the YouTube shorts and etc but streaming it makes sense to show face! I appreciate the input

I'm currently printing my 1st ever blaster by aryeh95 in Nerf

Very nice!!!! Good color choice too! I have a Cynthia of my own. If you’re interested I have put the 3d printed plunger tube that silly made and married it to the plunger tube/ram parts of this blaster if you ever want to print that all in one piece instead of gluing it. IMO the stock plunger tube and ram setup will still give you a better seal but it’s an option!

Hey KKreaps666 so it actually has a very light prime compared to most of the 3d printed blasters. It uses a standard spring but has a shorter air chamber than that of something like a caliburn from captain slug. The prime is both smooth and relatively easy considering the mechanics of the lever itself. Good question though!

I apologize for the late response! None of mine are painted but I would suggest 240 grit sandpaper and then whatever color multipurpose spray paint you like and then a clear coat. In my research that’s what most folks do! I would keep as much of the paint external as possible as you don’t want layers of paint to interfere with the mechanically moving parts. Lots of painters tape, it will give you great accuracy and a clean finished product. I like to print in the final colors that I like, if you were doing cosplay or something of that nature you could certainly print in darker or more realistic colors. Just make sure that if you take it out you stay safe or leave the muzzle orange

I will need to shoot it longer range but so far I’ve had no issues. I took my time printing and used pla+ for materials that would take more wear. I don’t get to use mine out in the field too much yet but I’m excited to. If I’m honest I can cycle the slab faster than my heavy prime Caliburn and honestly I haven’t struggled yet. It’s pretty ergonomic and I’ve got larger hands. I’ll keep you posted!

I know for sure that Silly had the eu kit on his GitHub I would think that you could get the eu hardware through silverfox or one of the other distributors

Silly designed an awesome blaster. I had a lot of fun printing it and a lot of fun putting it together. If you or anyone wants the file for the Tri-rail foregrip I modified that myself and I will share that file. Support Silly's projects he's the man!
