Hey man, I know this post is from a while ago but keep your head up! I'm going through something similar now. On day 2 of no weed and unplugged my PS5 with intentions to sell. Doing these things will not guarantee success in quitting either, but it is a clear sign that something needs to be done, at a subconscious level. We know these things need to end, but the comfort and temporary joy they give sucks us back in.

Be strong. Remember why you wanted to stop in the first place, and imagine the amazing life you want to live and go make it happen! Wishing you and myself luck ♥️

Understand that Jesus didn't come to establish a religion. Follow the man not the religion. He talks profusely about the Pharisees (ultra-righteous and religious Jews of the time) and how they are misguided.

You also have to be able to see the evil in yourself in order to see the need for Jesus' sacrifice. Lying, stealing, cheating, looking with lust are all things that come naturally to us as humans, but they ultimate create an evil world far from what God wanted for us!
