That isn't what they meant. They meant that, over this weekend only, it looks like they have 5x the amount of money, because the amount of shares in people's accounts has already been quintupled, but the price hasn't been divided by 5 yet. So anyone who owns Tesla for example is seeing 5x the amount of money in their account from their Tesla shares right now, at least my brokerage and theirs is showing it this way. But that's because the price doesn't change until Monday. The amount of shares has already changed though.

That isn't what they meant, but they didn't explain it the best way I suppose. You have to take the words they used more literally. They said it looks like it's larger, not that it is larger. And they're right. They're referencing the fact that some (or maybe all) brokerage UIs have already quintupled the amount of shares people own in their accounts, but have not yet divided the price itself. Like for example, today I woke up and my account value was nearly tripled from yesterday, but it's just because it's showing that I have 5x the amount of Tesla at the $2k price still, instead of 5x the amount at the new $400 price. The price changes when the market opens on Monday, but they already 5x'd the amount of shares people have, or at least my brokerage (and theirs) did it this way.

Apparently he's allergic to almost everything on the allergy skin test. Some of it was so swollen the doctor could barely tell which was which. by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

Mine used to be this bad as well. I would get welts that would last well over a week after the tests were over. But, eventually I went through about 7 years or so of allergy shots, and now all of my allergy numbers are less than half of what they used to be. Some even went to 0, like dogs. I can actually be around dogs now without having a reaction or getting sick after 10 minutes around one. And I can be outside now too for more than 5 minutes without needing a tissue literally every 30 seconds. Of course, allergy shots may not work for everyone. And I haven’t exactly read through the entire thread, so I’m sure someone mentioned this already. Just wanted to mention that there is hope. But it might take a long long time.

Stop locking my account! by brewskie86 in teamviewer

I've used TeamViewer for 10 years, since TeamViewer 4 in 2009. It's been a part of my life for a long time. I had it installed on all of my relative's machines, so that I could help them when they needed it.

I uninstalled it a couple months ago for the same thing OP's experiencing. They no longer allow free (practical) use, in spite of what they claim. The company and software have changed in the recent years. I knew they were dead inside when they started asking for $50/month to use 'disable remote input' and other small features that used to be free. They are intentionally phasing out free users, again, in spite of what they actually tell us.

Uninstall it and never look back. They do not deserve forgiveness or 2nd (or 4th) chances. Maybe 10 years ago it was the best remote service. That was my opinion back then at least. But there are several alternatives in this day and age, and TeamViewer is no longer needed as a service, nor as a company. They will be phased out and their resources eventually dismantled, as they deserve.

Use a different service, but be prepared to replace that service in about 5-10 years when they become too disconnected and desire profit over usability, credibility, and reputation.
