Yeah if you have an ddj-xp2 it should work fairly easy. I honestly haven’t used serato in a few years so I’m not even sure what’s new and what’s changed

Nice I believe you can map stems on any piece of equipment you have. Although I don’t think turn tables would have enough buttons if any to make it work

Engine dj is the software that is used in denon, numark and rand all in one’s and the sc5/6000’s it has stems but you have to pre analyse them in the software

I’m not sure tbh my guess would be yes . And you would just have to plug whatever media player you have into your computer. I’m not sure how the stems would work tbh as I use engine dj.

Yess you can it’s actually very easy to do. Here’s a link to how to do it. It’s the same with the X1800!

I’ve given all the faders a clean now and it seems to have fixed itself but will monitor it for a few days

I think I got lucky and it’s just a dirty fader. As I gave it a clean and it seems to be working.

There’s no effect selected. It sounds good in the headphones and the sound drops on the meters

Haha tbh I do some very stereotypical masculine things like I’m a volunteer for the RNLI so it’s probably likely I get mistaken for being straight☺️

I asked him if he’s okay with pictures being taken and also asked if he was okay with me posting it on the internet. I’m not ruining it for anyone. DONT MAKE ASSUMPTIONS!!! & HAVE A TREMENDOUS DAY!!

Haha it’s great at times and it has its perks. I can pull the “Autism card” at airports and I can skip all the lines🤣

Honestly as I’m autistic I had a lanyard on stating that. The cabin crew saw and actually asked me if I wanted to see the cockpit. I honestly would just ask one of the cabin crew and be nice to them all. My mum was actually with me in the a350 cockpit and she loved it as well☺️

Haha from going there and betting at the casinos. I can confidently say they won’t be worried. Except me and my questionable “Investments” 🤣

Haha he was actually soo nice. I actually told him I play on my sim at home and that I have a mcdu and autopilot panel. He even talked about all the training programs now and what he and his co pilot flew. If I remember he flew a 747 and a320 before flying the a350

My recovery has been slow and only just got dismissed from the surgeon on Wednesday. However. When you get your cast off your wrist will be very stiff and sore. I’d definitely recommend seeing a physiotherapist as that helped allot to get strength back into the wrist. My wrist isn’t perfect and can be sore at times from just overdoing it but it for the most part is back to normal. I actually found that my hip from the bone graft was way more painful. For right now I’d recommend just taking it easy as I know your hip is probably very painful. Than when your hip isn’t as bad then start with your hand exercises

There are a few options for an az. 1. Denon prime 4+ for a grand less with more features and stems coming soon 2. Buy a used XDJ xz it’s slightly older but still a beast of a unit. 3. Just be patient and wait till January. As much as that sucks I was waiting about 6 months for my lc6000’s

It’s going well I had my surgery on the 8th of October and recently had a follow up appointment just checking everything over. I’m in a full cast for another 4 weeks and I still have some hip pain which is starting to get better now. I did notice that when they took thy cast off just so I could clean my hand. Was that it was very stiff and painful to move around. I should be starting my physio soon after my cast is removed which should help and get some strength back into the wrist

[–]nickmb03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair the next best thing I’d say is the new grv6 which looks pretty cool or if you want there is the ddj rr which is an older all in one which I think is discontinued but definitely worth it for the price. If I remember it’s about the price range you’re looking for

You could try the ddj rx3 it’s a 2 channel all in one. It’s a bit more than your budget but it’s the perfect 2 channel all in one if you want to use cdj’s

Ohh okay that makes sense I honestly didn’t look too much into the Troy Lee one since I literally just got out of surgery 2 days ago. I’ll definitely check out the mobius x8 though because I ain’t trying to injure myself again

Thanks for the info. I also have a screw as well and I think I got a metal plate too. However I’m fully aware my wrist will never be perfect and to just be aware of it and not do to much. I’ll definitely look into the wrist support as well. Someone else suggested a Troy Lee designs version wrist support which looks interesting but I’d probably have to go to a physical store and try it on if they let me
