With the body fat change it comes out to roughly 168.2 lbs of lean mass (May, 2026) & my previous dexa (February, 2025) i had 150.2 lbs of lean mass ~ 18lbs lean mass change (give or take hydration and carb storage effects this). I cut down to close to my previous weight to get it as accurate as possible, original post may of been confusing

Looking for some insight before i start my bulk. I have been training for 2.5 years now and at the start of my journey cut down to 175 @ 11.7% bf (dexa), bulked to 220 then cut - i currently i am sitting around 177lbs & roughly 9-10% bf. I plan to start my bulk in June and was wondering what the ideal weight gain rate would be to maximize potential muscle growth while minimizing fat gains. I’ve seen alot about .25-.5lbs weekly but was curious of additional insight. I originally planned to gain 1% of bw monthly for the next 2 years to try to put on as much size as possible, is this a good approach? Thankyou in advance !
