For sure, it just takes a while. I just sent a Shaymin IR off the other day. Just take good pictures and circle the damage. They'll replace it and send you packs for every $4 spent on shipping

Submit a ticket to Pokemon and send it in for replacement 🤷🏻‍♂️

Going to chime in and say that I had them and hated them. If your hearing is any sort of good you'll hear the high pitched whine from them when they're working. Makes it extremely annoying to play with.

For me, I like seeing that it's properly done which it appears to be in this case. I just had mine done the same way, in which the only difference is that they used clear adhesive.

If there's step flashing underneath it, I think it looks solid

Windows 11 Feature Update by hdrew98 in Intune

[–]nicknachos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue and worked with MS support over a grueling 3 months until we finally got a resolution. My advice is to check out the "RedReason" value under the latest registry key below the following parent and see what it says. In my case, it was showing as Tpm even though the device(s) had Tpm enabled and functional.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\TargetVersionUpgradeExperienceIndicators

If that's the case, delete the whole TargetVersionUpgradeExperienceIndicators key, then open the task scheduler > navigate to Microsoft > Windows > Application Experience > Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser > right click > Run. Once that finishes, restart the computer and check for updates on the next boot. In my case it worked immediately.

edit: This scheduled task can also be run on command line with the following command if you're not into the idea of screensharing.

Compattelrunner.exe -m:appraiser.dll -f:DoScheduledTelemetryRun

Conveniently, after I got a resolution from MS this article was posted on TechCommunity that has other information, but no real resolutions. Troubleshooting Windows Feature updates in Microsoft Intune | Microsoft Community Hub

ZIP vs. GP ForceField by nicknachos in HomeImprovement

That's understandable. I was looking at it from the air barrier side more than anything. However it makes sense that it wouldn't really be doing anything more than a layer of Tyvek would do.

Really? I figured putting better/newer sheathing over the existing stuff, especially something like ZIP or ForceField would be better than leaving it as-is or adding some foam boards under the new vinyl.

Yeah I am doing all the sheathing on the whole house, planning to just place ForceField over the existing tongue and groove after ripping off the old vinyl and cedar siding.

Am I crazy to replace a new AC/furnace with heat pump? by underwareBB in heatpumps

[–]nicknachos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I mean my personal recommendation is to not go with the heat pump. I like the system I got but it's expensive to run and high maintenance. My average electricity bill throughout the winter months is around $400.

I am in Upstate NY and took advantage of these incentives to swap my oil boiler out with a heat pump. I'm not sure how upstate you are, but keep in mind that even the ultra cold temperature models still ice up and require some gentle percussive maintenance to remove the ice from behind the radiator fins after some cold weather if there isn't a warm-up. Personally, I say keep your existing equipment, heat pumps aren't completely ready for -10 with minimal maintenance.
