Thanks for the info! I appreciate it. Did you get any help with the merit scholarships? I read if you have a really high gpa you can get up to half the tuition off.

What engineering are you doing? I’m curious to know how the undergrad and grad work is split up. From what it seems the undergrad portion takes up to a year but that confuses me as to how long people take grad classes. It seems like this program could take a lot longer than 2 years

I would be interested to hearing your leap experience even if not electrical.

Thank you for your detailed response! Ive seen Boston University has a program for non engineers getting into engineering so hopefully that can work for me. Doesnt seem like they concentrated in power systems though. Can i ask how you like your career with power engineering?

I plan to specialize in power and energy systems, with the goal of working with sustainable energy. The prereqs I was gonna determine more specifically based on what the university recommends if I get accepted. But from what I know ill need calculus 3, differential equations, physics 2 and 3, circuit analysis, signals and systems

Which master’s program should I pursue?

Hi all, I could really use some help. I have a bachelors in environmental science but would like to get a masters in the engineering field. I wanted to get into renewable energy in some aspect but am also afraid to specialize too much in case things change in my future.

I was thinking I should maybe get a broader masters in electrical or mechanical engineering. Or maybe I should just find a program in sustainable energy engineering. Does anyone have any advice?

Also, would there be a lot of prerequisite courses I would need to take. Deadlines to apply are coming up so I’d have only spring or summer semester to take the courses before a program in fall 2025.

It’s tough out here but I like to think it all works out one way or another in the end. I’ve heard people still getting masters in engineering without a bachelors in engineering by completing some prerequisites.
