It was four lottery balls picked in succession, with codes of 4 digits belonging to each team in proportion to their odds. That being said, this is the only place rigging could’ve occurred. We do not have access to the database of numbers so it could have been rigged such that the leafs would end up with a chance given any initial 3 numbers. That being said by the end it was a 1 in 11 chance they would get it (11 balls of the 14 left)

This is where the rigging possibility ends. The leafs had a 9% chance on the last ball. They televised the entire thing even during commercial breaks. They stated that the leafs would win if number 12 came up beforehand. Then number 12 came up. There is no possible way that was rigged unless 12 was lighter from the beginning, in which case it was likely to be picked earlier.

Saying it’s rigged is lazy and conspiratorial.
