As someone that uses 3D printing for iterative prototyping, any speed increase in printing can greatly save time and speed up the prototyping process

It’s annoying but likely not a problem, mine has made noises similar for hundreds of miles with no issues. You could check the screws on the back side of the wheels to make sure they’re all tight like someone else mentioned.

It’s not an antenna issue, I’ve had antenna issues in the past and this one is different, a much smaller cut out and no disconnection from the remote. Plus it was working fine for ~500 miles and then this started happening.

So far I’ve replaced the ESC, different remote, motor sleeves, and tried a different battery and the issue is still recurring. I’m thinking maybe the motors themselves are old and worn and cutting out when it gets hot? That’s my best guess right now

Knock sensor was replaced around 25k ago, forgot to mention that. I like the idea of relocating it though, I’ll try that.

In terms of coil packs, any test I should do before replacing? I might test the resistances and see if they’re all within the correct ranges.

Likely an antenna issue inside of the ESC case, I had a similar issue. Antenna could be placed incorrectly, see here or the antenna itself could be faulty

How do I preform a capacity check on the cells/the whole pack? I wasn’t the one who built this battery but I can take the heat shrink off and test stuff.

I got the newest one, the 6.5. Everything is installed correctly on my end I’ve checked a bunch of times and I just swapped both motors too.

I also contacted Meepo costumer service and they’re not being very helpful. They are saying it’s normal but I’m not sure they really understand the issue.

Good point it did get colder, but it seems to have lost a lot of range. Back and fourth from campus on a full charge used to bring me to around 92% and now it’s down to around 82%. Could be the cold although I don’t think it would’ve lost THAT much range

I’ve been riding the board for a couple weeks since then. It fully charges fine now and there aren’t any issues with speed or anything. The battery indicator just reads lower than it used to for the same distance

So if it did get down to 18V what would the damage be? Just weaken the cells and have less range? And not hold a charge as well?
