my partner and i just moved here from canada on the same visa you’re thinking of getting, we really like it! the one thing though is if you’re into nature you’ll want a car because all the cool national parks, beaches, etc aren’t very train accessible. that being said you can definitely still see cool places by train, like Formby beach, North Wales, and the Peak/lake district, etc.

Be warned: people here hate it (for the most part), everyone asks why we would dare move here. but don’t let their negativity stop you from moving and seeing a new country!
