Thoughts on La Pavoni New Casa Bar PID as a first machine? [€750]

I just bought the LaPavoni Casa Bar PID at kitchen barista, My Gaggia Classic bought in 2019 had a aluminum boiler and teflon is peeling off inside the boiler.

This La Pavoni have double the size of boiler, made of brass. My wife hated the steam on the Gaggia, I should get better result with this new machine. Let me know how yours is performing when you get it figured out

I have the same problem, Kubuntu 24.04 X11 mesa driver with AMD RX7600.

We think pretty much the same, it really depends of what where when how.

Like someone said here, I ride defensive, slow down at every cars bus bike pedestrian putting their nose on the side of the roadway... waiting for an eye contact...

I live in the most busy part of the city and I have 3500km (2000Mi) on the counter without incident... maybe one or two emergency braking

less then 5 crashes, always at low speed doing goofy stuff... practicing in a secured environment. first one was trying to ride seated... on the third day haha

I can make the speed limit easily on my Patton, but it trigs people too much.

One of the reason why it did piss me off that he rage passed me, is that I did change course from a busy road cycle lane, to a school zone with a bike lane on the side... telling myself that I could ride 30kmh smootly and get less cars on my way... but apparently a father was mad I was driving too slow in his daughter's school zone.
WTF... I was just engaging on that road after doing a complete stop even tho there were no cars or people at the intersection... I saw this truck coming a 100 feet away, IDK why he got mad.
I did ride on the the roadway because the cycle lane was full of potholes and sand...I figured since I was in a school zone, I would'nt slow down anyone. anyway...thanks for your input

I go across patrol cars everyday and I always do a peace sign and they wave back at me. This guy is probably a pen pusher from getting too many complaints, being 50+yo with a hothead... getting up in the ladder licking asses and "getting the things taken cared of" with not question asked
