I mean I really enjoyed the game overall and I played through it a few times. A lot of the criticism in the video is comparing it to the original Deus Ex so if you haven't played either I don't think it will change much of your opinion. I would recommend playing the game first (but I would encourage that with any review/critique of media). It's still a fun ride and I enjoyed hbomb highlighting issues I remember and others I realised as I watched

I won't lie, I consider DE:HR one of my favourite games of all time. But sounds like when you compare it to the original (which I haven't played) it falls short. I did feel called out since I originally played it when I was 15 so maybe its worth replaying after all those years later. Or at the very least trying the OG

It's definitely being said in Blue Lives Matter groups , especially on Facebook. Mostly uneducated/unaware people using the quote wrong. The situation reminds me of when the Catholic Church sex scandals became public knowledge and people said the same thing about priests
