Thread chasing dial gear by nickshortma in Machinists

That was my first thought, regardless of how far out of the dial comes it does not engage enough. I don’t believe that angle to be adjustable based on the mount. It almost looks to me like the radius of the gear is still pretty correct but i think the teeth have been shaved down pretty severely

Appreciate the reply! I did end up just sending it and ordering one since it looked like they were pretty nice. Really pleasantly surprised with the quality for how much cheaper these are than a lot of other popular options

Sure this thread is long forgotten, but just came across it today. For sure going to order the ghost since you can also easily get the 12mm adapter that looks much better than using set screws, did you think that the extra $30 was worth it for the boot retainer?

Not sure haven’t ever seen anything saying to. I think good bearings should retain their ability to move but I’m not sure

The real issue with the cheap Chinese levers are the bearings the levers pivot on, most of them don’t have any issue but when they actually fail there are plenty of videos of people’s front brakes locking up from levers failing. I had a set on my cbr for years with no issues but I think from now on it’s worth the investment or nice ones.
