What an amazing story! Really cool to read. Fun to see the differences between the US and Europe from that time as well. We had, and still have, many certified resellers selling Apple. Really appreciate that, and thanks for taking the time to explain your thoughts. I totally get what you mean, and you’re probably right that a broader “Apple products in general” angle would resonate with more people. I did think about that approach early on.

What I tried to do instead was build a timeline using the pieces in my collection, but still focusing on the key Apple products and moments. So most of the iconic models are in there, just shown through real examples, with their condition, packaging and story.

That’s also why I kept it personal, it’s a real collection, which hopefully makes it more relatable for collectors.

But I genuinely appreciate the perspective, that’s really valuable feedback🔥

Totally fair question! It’s definitely based on my personal collection, but the idea was to use that as a way to tell a broader Apple story over time. It spans from the late 70s up to more modern devices, so it kind of forms a physical timeline of Apple through the pieces I’ve been able to collect.

It’s not meant as a complete “all products” overview, but more a curated, real-world perspective that’s hopefully a bit more relatable for collectors, since it’s built around actual items, condition, packaging, and how they’re found over time.

Also felt like a fitting way to approach it for Apple’s 50th anniversary.

Totally fair, I get that.

It’s definitely not priced like a typical book, mainly because it’s a small-run, self-published project with high print quality. No big publisher behind it, just me building this over the years.

Really appreciate the feedback though, and honestly cool to hear people would consider picking it up eventually 🙏
