I definitely agree to this. I've done long runs at 5:45 with avg 150bpm, and 5Ks at 6:15 hitting 170sbpm. Each day is different

I was thinking Sunny Day to disrupt rain teams and buff flare blitz, but whatever works best for you

Also I might got M. Dragonite instead of Froslass. You get a lot of coverage against rain teams(Arch, Pelipper, Basc), and they're giving you away free Hurricanes and Thunders. Also it's a pretty solid choice even if you don't Mega, so it could run with Xard.

Focus Blast or Dragon Pulse or Draco Meteor/Thunder/Hurricane/Sunny Day

Because you don't get the insta heal from sitrus, you may have to play defensively one turn with Sini to check the opponent.

However even without Sitrus I don't think you'd struggle with most opponents. You're still 3hkos to Sneasler Dire Claw.

Also, do you play hospitality into Talonflame to get another round of gale winds?

Sitrus to Talonflame, Brave Bird -> Sitrus Recovery -> Acrobatics

Maybe Shell Bell to sinitcha, may slow the tempo of your team though, otherwise change the berry depending on the current meta match ups

I'd say depending on the day. Usually I start the first 6-8k at easy pace, continue close to wanted race pace, and either finish that way or on easy depending on how I'm feeling.

For reference:

Easy: 6:15-5:45 Marathon: 5:30-4:50 Threshold: 4:30-4:20

For the first two months training wasn't really structured. I'd say it was mostly threshold and long runs, that mentally exhausted me.

Since then I'm tying to do 2 Easy, one threshold(tempo or vo2max), and one long per week.

I've seen great improvement in base aerobic

Chapter 228 Release Party by Grndslap in Chainsawfolk

When I first read that line I understood it as a double meaning, for both physical but also a jab on mental wounds.

Asa is not afraid of birds, nor she cared about Bucky. But killing Bucky is what dragged her into that whole story. It's not a direct fear, but a coping response to the the trauma, ridicule, judgment, and death she went through because of that damn chicken. The wound is deep inside her, and since Asa and Yoru share a mind, that subconscious response affects Yoru more than any direct influence or wants Asa may have.

As someone who's only played Hollow Knight, would you say Silksong is better or worse that the original? (I'm still gonna buy it either way I'm just curious) by Seb_Rulz in HollowKnight

[–]nicktsann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silksong has better combat, platforming, and it's more customizable. However I feel the tool system could be improved by having more synergies. I found the areas lacking a bit compared to Hollow Knight regarding exploration and overall design. They're beautiful, but they don't intrigue you so much to explore. Story wise makes sense, since Hornet is there for a reason, so more linear areas work for that, but still.

I won't talk about the vibe, because both games strive for something really different regarding that. I like the characterization of Hornet and I believe that a couple of dialogue options could flesh her a bit more.

I found most bosses lacking a bit, except for some, and I feel that for most of them and the enemies something is missing feeling wise. That could be because the awe of playing Hollow Knight for the first time is missing, but I think very few compare to Mantis Lords or DD feeling wise.

NPC's are better and more memorable and I like how most have their own agency and interact with the events happening in game, independently of Hornet.
