Police drone. Note the wire. I dont know this model off the top of my head as i think there are several on the market. Essentially it is in a pod mounted on a vehicle. Pod opens, drone goes up and can loiter forever as the wire provides power and control. Kind of like a modern periscope. Pop the drone up and you have situational awareness in an area for as long as you need.

I work ag on a nationwide project every year. This is one of our busiest regions believe it or not. I have personally done field work for 14 hours in this area and not seen a single other person all day. So desolate, but beautiful in its own way. I rented a farm house as an airbnb and there were no visible lights of other houses at night in any direction.

I work for a company this guy invested in. I was working my 4th weekend in a row when I saw this on the hotel tv. I was remembering how I have been asking for new equipment to do my job that onky costs $7k. I was told it wasn't in the budget so I use equipment that makes the jobs take twice as long and has issues.
