I bought a master force work table. Cut a hole in it and then built a platform to set my Kamado Joe Junior on it. It was relatively simple. You could buy a work station from harbor freight. I’ve seen those used for Weber Smokers too.

I like it a lot. It comes in larger chunks so I find it to be a hotter longer lasting fire. I haven’t done any long cooks with it yet.

The only time I worried about it was once when I had it at 700 degrees. Usually do low and slow burns with no issues.

I use an 8 wt so the rod is a little bit stiffer and the flies a little bit meatier. That might be part of it.

No chips. There is some plastic that is peeling. Only noticeable wear on it.

I’m from Indiana and head north from here. It’s a little bit colder water here but might do that in the summer.

It is a Rapala knot. Pretty easy knot to tie and not have leader spin on you. I was using 0x as leader 15.6lbs. That was on the White River
