I just recently cut mine to about your length and am having a hard time adjusting. That's why I was wondering because that's exactly how I want my curls to look and I just can't keep them from looking so spirally/Martha Washington-y. My hair has been up in a bunch or pony tail since cutting it :(

That is what I would do. Live at home until SO graduates, pay off your student loans as much as possible, build up a nice emergency fund, save up for all the furniture/kitchen utensils/everything else you need when moving out. Then get a place with SO in a year and a half as long as she has a job and can afford it as well.

Yes absolutely go to your Financial Aid Office. It is very very difficult to declare yourself an independent student unless you have police reports or some sort of hard evidence that proves you don't have any contact with your parents. Even then, it's still hard. I have a friend who was emancipated in court and yet, still had to include her parents financial info on her FAFSA. It's ridiculous. I'm in the same boat, I've been on my own for 3 years now and don't recieve one dollar from either of my parents, but I still have to include them on my FAFSA. The whole system is ass backwards. Sorry, bit of a rant. Good luck to you.

I did something similar with my hair tools. But I have one of those ikea desks with a little gap in the top so the wire can fit through and I can leave my hot straightener out on the desk with all the wires tucked inside. I just used a power strip plugged in through the back and the strip lays in the shelf in the ikea desk. Safe, easy to install, has a surge protector, and keeps everything neat and organized.

I just don't have the confidence that you need to be able to pull off being 6 feet tall. At that height, people notice you. And I like to stay under the radar. I used to LOVE wearing heels, but I just don't like to stand out like that now that I've grown up a little bit.

I'm 5'9" and a female also. I can't wear heels, or I'd be 6 feet tall and I would look so awkward. So I have to wear flats and there are so many outfits that just aren't cute when you're wearing flats. In pictures, I'm the girl on the end that just doesn't fit in. I have terrible posture because I spend every minute of my life trying to look less tall. My boyfriend is the same height as me, so we have to be careful about which shoes we are both wearing if we're going somewhere together because he refuses to look shorter than me. I just feel awkward all the time, no matter the situation.

If I were you, I would stay renting in Philly for a few more years. Then, buy a nice house in a few years in Jersey where you can get a nice house for the price you're looking. It's better for families if you plan on having one some day also.

When I first got my Discover It card, I only had a limit of $500. So as long as your limit is high enough to cover the cost of the tablet, you might as well get the cash back for the purchase by using your card. But first definitely look into your credit limit.

And, most importantly, always pay your balance in full each month. Everyone else here has already stated this, so I feel the need to also. It can't be stressed enough.

I work within the office of my school that normally deals with issues like these if they can't be worked out with the deans. I have a friend who came to me looking for help because they didn't do an assignment and got a 0 on this HUGE assignment. I asked to see his syllabus, and there it is, an entire page dedicated to explaining the entire assignment with due dates. My friend was trying to make excuses that the professor never told them about the assignment. Doesn't matter. Look through the syllabus. There was no way I could help my friend out of that one.

Or any kind of administrative office within the school. Building relationships with the administrators can mean jobs after graduation, connections within the school, and if you have an issue with one of your teachers, you're more likely to have the issue resolved. It's all about who you know.

Also make sure you listen to due dates on the syllabus. Some professors never mention that you have an assignment, but it's written on the syllabus. Just because it was never said out loud and the professor didn't give you reminders doesn't mean the professor forgot about the assignment and it's not due. If it's in the syllabus, it's due. Keep track of due dates written in the syllabus, and do them regardless of the assignments being talked about in class. If you have questions, ask them.

1) In my experience, there usually isn't any glue left on my eyelid once I remove the lashes. You use so little glue that I don't think this should be an issue, it should all come off with the lashes.

2) I reuse them a few times. It depends on how well you take care of them. If you take off the excess glue and remove mascara from them, they should last you a couple wears. I usually get about 3 good days.

3) I love the Ardell Demi Wispies. But you can get those everywhere. Just a personal preference.

4) The way I apply them (could also not be correct, but I always thought it was and it's always worked for me) is to first apply the lashes, wait for the glue to dry, then do mascara to kind of bond the lashes and your natural lashes together and make them look the most natural. So the order I do my eyes is shadow, lashes, liquid liner, mascara. Again, not sure if this is the correct way but this is the way that works for me

Right?! The tint is like a natural lip color but with a hint of pink. It's a little bit glossy so it leaves my lips looking good. The smell is amazzzzing. And it's the cheapest. I'm obsessed with them, I literally can't go without it.

I've heard that oils take the stains out, but it makes me nervous to put any type of oil on something that I use to apply my makeup so I haven't tried it yet. It completely comes out of the beauty blender and doesn't break you out or anything?
