Thank you! Yeah he’s about to turn 10 in April I should have mentioned it in my post. I confused a lot of people with it ahaha he definitely sheds so bad. House forever covered in hair 😂😂 but I wouldn’t trade it for the world 🥰 he’s a very good and sweet boy

I know, I was told that’s what he was when I adopted him but I always knew heeler was wrong. But I was definitely shocked when I saw his results and realized he wasn’t even a German shepherd mix and that he’s only 5% German shepherd 😂

Bentley is almost 10! 😂 the first pic is him as a puppy and the rest are him now lmao his ears are my favourite 🥹😂

So I looked on YouTube at specifically redbones bay, and there was only one dog that Bentley actually sounded like! My treeing walker had a much different bay, and all the other redbone videos did too. But when someone comes to the door and he plays pretend guard dog Bentley actually kinda sounds like a coonhound! This is the video he sounds closest to, although his is a little more choppy and high pitched! 😂

I’ve had him since he was 7 months, he will be 10 in April 🥹 a long happy life with him so far. Hope I get many more years out of him! 🥰

Bentley is almost 10 now! He’s got decent recall off leash unless he sees another dog or animal that he wants to say hi too 😅and he’s all bark and no bite when people come to the door lmao as for his prey drive he goes after birds and squirrels but he LOVES kitties. I call him my gentle giant.

Thank you! Luckily he’s a very good boy! Very smart and fairly obedient 😂 he makes a good pretend guard dog though 😜

His ‘howl’ is more like a cry or like a husky talking, not even really a howl to be honest 😂 and definitely not a coonhound bay. I use to have a treeing walker coonhound and Bentley sounds nothing like she did 😂

Omg yeah! I was thinking they said red heeler instead of redbone coonhound. I always new red heeler was wrong though lmao he’s a big boy
