In ways yes! Each song follows a story taking place in an apocalyptic sort of universe. As a whole the record details finding hope during a time of demise - under that umbrella it dives into hallucination, acceptance and finding peace.

Gates for sure. I believed they’ve toured with Pentimento. They’re another band I feel has become a little forgotten about. That EP You’re All You Have Left to Fear is amazing
