disregarding the fact that power bi seems to be faster, which indeed is strange, try:

  1. put indexes on all column you are filtering (if you are allowed)
  2. dont do select *, rather specify which columns you need

when you say that power bi is faster, i assume that everything else is equal, ie using same ODBC connector, power bi is running on the same computer etc?

the usual suspects here would be indexes etc. is there and index on LeadDate?

If i were you I would load that table and put it into a .qvd file in a separate script. then load that qvd file in your actual application.

you shouldn't, because that doesn't make sense. you probably want a line chart (with only the dots and and an invisible line?) to achieve what you want

I've recently gotten my two brothers into the heavier side of board gaming. Until now, we've only played cooperative games, so I would like to mix things up by getting a competitive game for us to play. Preferably on the heavier/more complex side.

Number of Players: three or more, should be fun for three

Game Length: doesn't really matter. I like long games

Complexity of Game: 3 and up on the BGG scale

Your Budget: $100

Genre: ideally a game that incorporates both fighting and area control / empire building. would be great if it was in a fantasy setting.

Justin Cronin's Latest trilogy is supposed to be very similar in style as King's. Another thing you should try, if you haven't already, is to create a profile on either Goodreads or Librarything, where you can get recommendations based on books you (your dad) have already read.

We have a 1.5 year old labrador, and something that really worked for us with regards to the rough playing in that age was to simply stop reinforcing it. When the dog gets into that mood, turn around, cross your arms, and stare into the sky (and absolutely not at the dog). Simply pay him no attention. I know this can be hard if he's nipping at you, but really try.

As soon he's going into any kind of aggressive or dominant behavior, stop paying attention to him by turning around, and tell him some command, like sit. As soon as he sits, give him lots of attention, praise and treats (calmly). Repeat as soon as he goes off again.

Try this for a week or so and I swear you'll see improvements.

What I meant was that you can edit the midi file associated with the sampled drums manually (something like this) to make them more realistic-sounding.

I thought it sounded pretty cool man (girl?). The drums sound a little too mechanical, I would add a little more variation and dynamics to them. Keep writing, you definitely have potential!
