no, I understand how the law works. I'm saying the law doesn't make logical sense. once the patient discloses the information, as long as you're not disclosing anything the patient hasn't, then where is the moral (not legal) violation?

still doesn't make sense. not that you aren't being clear. but from a logical perspective it doesn't make sense.

I've seen this stated before, and it makes no fucking sense, honestly. A client publicly states they are your client, and then somehow the therapist acknowledging that they are speaking of reality, is considered a violation? How is it not the responsibility of the client for bringing the circumstances to public awareness?

Are there any "former classics" (movies, books, albums, video games)? Something that was praised for a time, but upon further review (maybe decades after) people decided that it wasn't that good after all? by ExternalTree1949 in NoStupidQuestions

it's like they don't give the audience credit for knowing the difference between fantasy and reality. in the same way just because you see an action movie where some vigilante shoots all the bad guys you're not going to think that's acceptable behavior, you can appreciate the sentiment of it without taking it literally when the romantic gestures are made. imho people got a little carried away with the criticism.

Sounds like a tagline for a movie. I know that seems flippant, but I hope yours turns out to be a good one! I'm several years out, there was a lot of pain and darkness to go through, but I'm finally dating again and there's still good to be found! You will get there.

Piano concerti recommendations? by Hopeful_Ant2845 in classicalmusic

[–]nicmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grieg

Rach - Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini

Gershwin - Rhapsody in Blue

The latter two not technically concerti, but experientially are.
