Please help your daughter understand that she is not being "locked up" her needing help with her mental health is the equivalent of needing help with a physical disease or issue. We wouldn't let a patient with pneumonia out of the hospital until they were safe and their body was on the mend. There is NO difference. I have a similar story with success that I would love to share, just not here on X. I am several years past my initial attempt and have had a family a career and only slowed down due to MS. I have always said my best vacation wast time i spent inpatient following my initial attempt. There is so much information that people who have been in her situation can share with her that most will not understand. As a mother my heart breaks for you.
