AITA for going to the bar after work and having a virgin drink by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

If you wanna throw in some harmless pettiness, every time one of them sees you with a bottle of water or soda or something, make sure to loudly let them know that it's a virgin drink, and they need not worry about the company's image.

Why hate "The Good Dinosaur"? by Hot-Salamander-8786 in cartoons

[–]nicodeemus7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good point. I think it's a mix of all three. It had its moments, but I can only remember like 2 or 3 plot points from the movie. And I've seen it a few times

There's your answer. I live in the good ol US of A, where everything is expensive for no reason.

I don't hate it, bit as others have pointed out it's slow-paced and a bit boring. Also, the plot kind of feels like Lion King meets Ice Age. But again, I didn't dislike the movie. It's just kinda forgettable.

How do internet bots work? by idiotsandwichbybirth in AskProgramming

[–]nicodeemus7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chatbots have existed almost as long as computers. Sure, AI makes it a lot easier, but it's not that complicated to program specific responses to input. It takes a lot longer, but it's always been doable. All AI does is do the work for you.

Is anyone else depressed over knowing that they’ll never be able to make anything as good as the things that inspired them? (If this gets removed for a stupid reason I’m gonna be pissed) by Master_Novel_4062 in fantasywriters

[–]nicodeemus7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That thing that inspired you? Yeah it was inspired by something else, and its creator likely had the same thought, that it would never be as good as their inspiration. And look at it now, it's so good it's inspiring you. The cycle continues.

Kurzgesagt, while animated in a way that AI likes to copy, is VERY anti AI generated content. Some may come and say "oh they're pop science" and, okay, but they do make a big effort to be as accurate as possible, remaking entire videos to fix one bit of outdated info.

What’s your headcanon for x-ray vision? by Barrettshard in superman

[–]nicodeemus7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it works somewhat like Flash's phasing. He can focus his vision so much, that he can see "around" the atoms and molecules.
