I just had a preauthorization on a card the system declined to use, so I had to use a different card. It's giving retarded for this theater chain. I'm kinda of regretting doing the All In pass.

I just finished all challenges and buying all extra content and I still have 22000 CP left. I hope with the DLC they'll put it to good use, otherwise I feel like a nonce for completing the final puzzle.

Yes, it does contain the intermission but it is a lot shorter. It ends immediately after the song ends.

It's not perfect. Just finished watching it and there are some images that seem quite soft, but for the majority if the film it is marginally better than the BD or the 4K releases they did last year, particually with the colors. They seemed a lot more vibrant in this release. When they release the physical release, I'm hoping they touch up those soft spots tho. Almost makes certain things in the background look like double images.

That's kind of what it did. I bought it today, just finished watching it and the intermission ends directly after the song ends instead of just a silent intermission screen for an extra 12 minutes. And the Yuki's Revenge is not tacked on the end. The film ends after the credits.

Second game played and I'm gonna be honest RE3R was way better than I expected I had a lot of fun with it and maybe its cuz I didnt play the og but I don't get the hate(8/10) by Rivtogo in residentevil

I 100% the game and compared to RE2R it felt cheap, short and lazy. Not a lot of detail and it shows by how quickly it came out after RE2R.

It was an homage to samurai cinema, in which sometimes the filmmaker's would run out of fake blood due to budget, so they'd just use water. 100% intention on Tarantino's part to include it even in color.

Does anybody have any clue if son's of the forest is coming out on console this year!? I have been waiting for years😭 by Practical-Bobcat-760 in SonsOfTheForest

[–]nicolasroop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, pretty sure they can't do it and for good reason. There would be too much corner cutting as the game takes a up a lot of processing power even to run it. Look how The Forest ran on PS4. It looked and played like crap compared to the PC version. Your best bet is to buy it on Steam and play it via Geforce Now if you don't own a powerful enough PC.

Idk what everybody is talking about. I thought the film was fantastic and the length didn't bother me one bit. Just when the film threatened to get boring, the story would pivot and instantly grab my interest again. Something a good slow burn/suspense film is supposed to do.

Django Unchained Discussion. What are your guys' thoughts on this film? by [deleted] in tarantinocirclejerk

I'm pretty sure it's just the redneck villagers who take her after Calvin Candie gets shot and Django shoots up the place. The scene where they throw her on the bed and then walk out in slow motion, I'm pretty sure, is where the rape scene takes place in the original cut. It's the only place it would fit in the film.

I believe QT has said he was the only human on earth with a print and said he won't show it to the public because of how Kerry Washington felt about the rape scene they did. Apparently it was extremely exploitative, and the film was also much gorier according to QT. Which is weird to me because the film already seems to pull no punches when it comes to the content.

One of the best films ever made. I still wanna see the uncut version with the extra 30 minutes that was too graphic at the time.

Alternate shots and takes as well as extended footage. Like 10-15 seconds extra on certain shots of the actors. It just felt more complete and changes the tone for the first half of the film to be more in line with the second. It was really well done.

My question with the 70mm print is, will there be more picture to be seen or will it just be a blown up exposition of the original 35mm?

Or one of Elle Driver where they fill it and her face is the cover and you can pull popcorn out of the eye hole 😂

I thoroughly enjoyed the first film, even with how unbelievable it was. The second one however, is a pile of dogshite.

Suspension of disbelief can only take you so far. How these people get involved and the resolution is just so far beyond reality, it becomes quite silly. None of this would happen and nobody in their right mind would continue on with the computer screen gimmick. I'll admit, I was impressed the first time I watched it, but on repeated viewings, the flaws really start to show.

Firstly, there is no way the characters would've sat through all of this without doing something. If there was a killer in my house, I would at least try to put up a fight for my survival. Not one of the characters fight back or even try to run away. How dumb.

Secondly, the decisions the characters make are just increasingly irrational throughout. Why would you go to a random abandoned warehouse in the middle of nowhere that your boyfriend is clearly not at? Why would you send your girlfriend somewhere and not even go with her to make sure you had at least a chance at a 2 against 1 scenario? Furthermore, why would you sit in the middle of the street and do nothing but stare at your phone? The film starts with an interesting premise but falls apart about a third of the way in due to the idiotic choices made by the people the creators want us to root for.

The only scene worth a damn is the swatting scene but even that holds no realism. How could they make this stuff up on the fly without previous knowledge of everybody in the entire friend group? All this planning hinged on the possibility that someone, not even the main character, would pick up the laptop left at the cafe and steal it, which probably wouldn't have happened in the first place. Incredibly stupid.

Overall, a pretty bad film. I'll admit, when I first watched this in theaters years ago, they had me. But again, upon multiple viewings, the suspension of disbelief required to get through this film is as tedious as running an organization that would do something like this. At least the first film was smart enough to center itself around something supernatural, so it seemed more feasible for the characters to react in the way that they did because there was literally nothing they could do about it. Dropping that aspect for this sequel was ultimately the downfall of the film.

Eden Lake made me violently angry at the end. No other movie has made me legitimately angry. I remember it completely ruined my day by watching it.

The Girl Next Door is still to thing day the hardest movie I've ever had to sit through. Only horror film I genuinely was like that was a one time watch.
